Dan Phelps continues as a General Managing Member of Duchossois Technology Partners (DTEC) and is a General Partner of Opus Capital leading investments in both established services companies as well as early stage companies.

Dan was a Partner and a founding member of DTEC where he focused primarily on networking software and system investments. Dan still leads the investments in Infoblox, Intellon (Nasdaq:ITLN), Mobilitec (acquired by Lucent), NetNearU, NextHop and Personeta.

Before joining DTEC, Dan spent five years at the Pritzker Financial Office in Chicago, where his responsibilities focused on principal investments in more mature operating companies. Previously, he was in the financial services group at Ernst & Young.

Dan holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
