Personeta, a developer of converged service creation and application solutions for communications service providers, announced today that it has received an investment from Cisco Inc.
The new funding will be used by Perseoneta to further its development of solutions and
components based on its TappS™ NSC product for next-generation, converged service delivery – particularly in the areas of fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) and multimedia solutions.
“We are extremely pleased with this investment by Cisco,” said Avraham (Bibi) Rosenbach, CEO and president of Personeta. “Cisco’s funding will help Personeta realize its vision at the service layer by offering service providers enabling technologies for converged, value-added services within the emerging service delivery platform (SDP) paradigm.”
As a Cisco Technology Developer Program partner, Personeta has collaborated with Cisco on several deployments throughout Europe. Most recently, the two companies announced a joint implementation of a FMC solution for Russian mobile operator Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), with Personeta’s TappS NSC product complementing a range of Cisco products.
