Pintail Technologies, a breakthrough semiconductor test solutions provider, announced today the approved appointment of Raymond J. Farnham to the Pintail Board of Directors. Mr. Farnham is a semiconductor executive with over 30 years industry experience. His indoctrination into the high-tech world was at National Semiconductor where he came up through the ranks and spent a total of 21 years there. His last position at National was the president and GM of the Communications and Computing Group where he was responsible for a $675M global IC business comprising five divisions serving the networking, telecommunications, PC, disk drive, and consumer electronics markets. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Farnham has been president and CEO of several different companies in Silicon Valley as well as serving as an active board member of both public and private companies. Of significance to Pintail, Mr. Farnham was the president and CEO at IDS Software Systems when PDF Solutions acquired IDS and it’s leading statistical analysis tool for the semiconductor industry called dataPOWER™.
