| Intellon Continues Strong HomePlug Powerline Market Lead at CEBIT 2007 |

Intellon Corporation, the global leader in standards-based powerline communications (PLC) integrated circuits (ICs) for home networking of data and multi-media content, today announced over a dozen leading manufacturers at CeBIT will be showcasing new, interoperable products that use Intellon’s HomePlug AV-based ICs to distribute multiple high-definition (HD) video streams over existing in-home powerlines.
Manufacturers with products using Intellon’s HomePlug AV-based ICs include: Actiontec, Asoka USA, Aztech, devolo AG, D-Link, Gigafast, Linksys, NETGEAR, Sercomm, Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices, Solwise, and ZyXEL.
“Earlier this year, devolo was delighted to offer to the market the world’s first retail products using Intellon’s HomePlug AV-based devices; the dLAN 200 AV and dLAN AVPro,” said Heiko Harbers, CEO of devolo. “Of particular interest to us and our customers is the fact that everyone is looking for a true global standard – something the HomePlug Powerline Alliance offers that no other company or technology can provide. Intellon’s industry-standard powerline communications ICs are used in a wide variety of consumer, service provider and broadband over powerline (BPL) applications. Over 30 service providers worldwide now use Intellon’s HomePlug ICs for a number of purposes, including distributing broadband Internet service and IPTV inside customers’ homes.
“Linksys is excited to be unveiling its first, of what promises to be many, HomePlug AV-based products for future retail consumption, at this year’s CeBIT,” said Matt McRae, Linksys senior director of business development and a HomePlug Alliance board member. “We believe the industry-standard HomePlug AV technology and future generation derivatives will provide the consumer a new class of simplicity and performance for in-home content distribution.”
Intellon has now shipped over eight million HomePlug ICs that are deployed on six continents. The adoption rate is accelerating, with over four million HomePlug ICs shipped during 2006. Intellon’s total powerline communications IC shipments now exceed 14 million units.

Exhibitors throughout CeBIT are also displaying a wide array of products based on Intellon’s HomePlug 1.0 and HomePlug 1.0 with Turbo ICs. Manufacturers of products using Intellon’s HomePlug 1.0 and HomePlug 1.0 with Turbo ICs include Asoka USA, ASUSTek Computer, Aztech Systems, D-Link Systems, NETGEAR, Philips Consumer Electronics, Siemens Subscriber, ZyXEL Communications, Devolo AG and Cisco-Linksys LLC.

Visitors to Intellon’s booth at CeBIT in Hall 14, Stand 11 will see multiple demonstrations showing Intellon’s HomePlug AV-based ICs streaming high-definition video content over powerline. Intellon is also demonstrating its popular 14-Mbps HomePlug 1.0 and 85-Mbps HomePlug 1.0 with Turbo solutions and showcasing a multitude of end-user retail products from its customers.
